Description (taken from UA master calendar):Proceeds benefit Teach for America and Phi Sigma Pi. Prize baskets and plaques will be awarded to 1st place runners in their age group. Second and third place runners in their age group will win Alabama stuffed mugs. The age groups are as follows: 15 and under, 16-23, 24-31, 32-39, and masters (over 40).
Cost: $15 registration fee

Description (taken from theatre Web site): Set in a Russian backwater and littered with a population of corrupt administrators and greedy merchants, Gogol's satirical comedy paints a picture of rampant lunacy. All seems lost for this disheveled little town when they discover that the Government Inspector is paying a surprise visit - incognito. Who is he? What does he look like? Is he already here? Will he marry the mayors daughter? Gogol's hilarious comedy will leave you laughing in the face of authority - and perhaps at your own face as well. Remember, you can't blame the mirror if your face is cracked!
